What is Turkish Automotive Aftermarket Association? Actions? Missions and Visions?
Turkish Automotive Aftermarket Association was founded in 1995 with an aim to promote and expand Automotive Aftermarket in Turkey. Turkish Automotive Aftermarket Association is a member of FIGIEFA, an international federation on the European Union platform promoting free and fair market competition.
The majority of the complementary parts of a vehicle are manufactured by the automotive supply industry. The manufacturing firms not only provide the parts for the assembly but also they introduce these to the Aftermarket. The replacements parts used in case of maintenance, repair or accident are supplied through 2 distinct channels:
1) OES channel led by automotive manufacturers,
2) Service provider and/or automotive aftermarket distributor manufacturing various parts and delivering to the manufacturer and the end user.
Turkish Automotive Aftermarket Association comprised of leading domestic and international suppliers in the aftermarket channel, international trade groups and dealers, operates with an aim to improve the distribution channel, to have a more professional structure and to reach the European Standards.
OUR ACTIVITIES
• To follow the new competition law and sector-specific notifications so as to contribute to the development of Aftermarket.
• To represent Aftermarket on the state level, especially on the under secretariat level.
• To carry out studies in order to justify that the product and service quality in the Aftermarket corresponds to the quality in OES Channel at minimum.
• To communicate the progress and enhancements in the sector with the members, representatives and the other sectorial institutions and organizations.
• To follow the innovations and new developments in the EU Aftermarket through FIGIEFA.
• To generate joint purchasing projects to add value to the members.
MISSION
Our mission is to bring the independent companies operating in the Automotive Aftermarket Sector that is part of the automotive sector together under the same roof, determine their common interests, and add surplus value to the sector and its members in this way.
VISION
Our vision is to have a say in the automotive sector and before the official bodies by incorporating the producer and distributor companies operating in the Automotive Aftermarket Sector.
